This is "not the Momma" writing this review. Wife's name is on our Amazon account.I asked some friends who work outdoors year round about their experiences with insulated bib overalls. Carhartt was the most popular name that came up but a couple of guys did have good experience with Key. I usually rely on others reviews here on Amazon but these did not have any reviews. Fortunately, Amazon had free returns on this item. With Amazons exceptional service, I thought, what did I have to loose.I don't like having to choose from lettered sizing,eg, XLarge/Short. I would prefer to have the waist and inseam in inches. As a kid in the era of no political correctness I wore Husky [wince] sized jeans. As an old man I have moved on to the now politically correct Portly size! LOL. I found better sizing information on the Key Industries web site and decided to give this a try.I read about every review on Amazon for different brands of insulated bibs and sizing info was all over. People saying to buy 2 sizes larger or your exact size, yadda, yadda. In a jean I normally wear 46 x 28-30 depending on the brand and cut. I intend to wear these over my clothes. I bought the XXX-Large/Short. I tried them on as soon as they arrived. I had been working outside and was fully clothed. These fit comfortably over my clothes which was what I was shooting for. These are branded as Polar King which is a product of Key Industries, "Premium Insulated Bib Overall, Waist Zip (276.--)" to be exact.PROS: Heavy material, metal latches for the suspenders are heavy duty, not just the looped wire type, you have to match up the 2 ends and twist lock to latch them. The suspenders have a shorter piece of elastic in them than Carhartt but are still fully adjustable for my needs. Good reinforced knees, crotch and heel area on pant leg. Metal zippers through out. Waist length *double ended* zipper with large tabs on the legs. The bottom of the pant legs have a 2 position snap for closing up the bottom of the legs. Two pockets inside the bib for cell phone or whatever but they may not be large enough for a phablet size smart phone. Front zipper with large tab on front which is good if you get too warm you can open and keep from sweating.CONS: I was surprised to find that one of the zippered pockets had opened in the middle. It looked as if the zipper was broken. With nothing to loose I used the pull tab, zipped the zipper open and closed. It worked. I tried to pull the zipper open by tugging the cloth material on both sides of the zipper, not the pull tab, but could not duplicate the "problem". The pull tabs on the zippered pockets are small and will be difficult to operate with anything but the lightest of gloves. Some of the stitching had an occasional loop of thread that had not been pulled tight. Conclusion: These are well made and warm. They fit me like I wanted. I would buy them again.I also bought the Carhartt Men's Extremes Arctic Quilt Lined Zip-To-Waist Biberall in a size 50X28 and will review them.I will try and post some pictures.
